Lent begins on Ash Wednesday 40 days before Easter and has 6 Sundays. Easter includes Easter Sunday and the 6 Sundays after Easter. Pentecost is on the Sunday 50 days after Easter. The Sundays following Pentecost Sunday are called the Season after Pentecost or Ordinary Time.
